I am an industrial engineer. I have spent my career inside textile, apparel and leather mills, planning production, cutting utility consumption and rebuilding the systems those factories depend on. I am now building Intelactory.

What I keep being called in to fix

The same failures, in different mills, over and over.

Every project below was scoped, run and closed by hand. What matters is not any single one of them. It is that the same failure classes kept recurring across unrelated factories, which is the point at which a problem stops being a job and starts being worth building software for.

I cannot publish my clients' numbers. Here is the arithmetic instead.

Every consulting figure I hold belongs to the mill that paid for it. So rather than ask you to trust a case study, put your own lot in. This is the same dyehouse arithmetic I have used on site for eleven years, and the same maths that runs inside Intelactory.

Per year at this ratio, all lots 4,205

Water per lot is fabric weight multiplied by the liquor ratio. Nothing more. Dropping a 300 kg lot from 1:8 to 1:5 takes 900 litres out of every batch, and the heat that went with it.

Formula: water (L) = fabric (kg) × liquor ratio. Annual figure assumes 292 working days. Check it against your own utility meter, not against me.

Why I am building Intelactory

1platform

Every mill I have worked in has the same gap. Planning, quality and sustainability reporting live in spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads and somebody's memory. I have built the manual version of the fix many times: the dashboards, the SOPs, the innovation registers. It works, and it does not survive me leaving the site.

Intelactory is that fix written once, as software. Planning, production, quality, traceability and sustainability in one operating layer, built from the problems in the table above rather than from a product roadmap.

I am not the obvious person to build manufacturing software. I am the person who has already built it by hand, badly and then well, inside real factories, and who knows exactly which parts a mill will refuse to use.

An AFD funded ZDHC programme reducing wastewater pollution and improving chemical management across Bangladesh's textile, apparel and leather industry. Run through the Textile Today Innovation Hub, and currently underway.
